We went to the International Motorcycle Show (IMS) in Dallas, TX this past weekend. BMW Motorrad had 6 updated models on display in their booth, including the new S 1000 RR which we were super excited to get to see in person. I got to sit on the motorsports S 1000 RR up on the rotating display and grabbed my pal Tami to two-up with me on the red one. The new S 1000 RR has some features I’m really looking forward to trying out, including an all new chassis.
I enjoyed catching up with my BMW pals Nate Kern (factory test rider and S 1000 RR Ambassador), Shawn Thomas (BMW Motorrad Adventure Ambassador), and Erin Sills (land speed racer). We walked around the convention center and checked out motorcycles in the Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show and other factory booths. IMS had a few other neat experiences including an indoor New Rider Course where beginners could try out riding a motorcycles for the first time while learning the basics from instructors. As always, I had a great time at the show!
