BMW Rally: Land of Oz, 2015

The KC BMW MC‘s Land of Oz rally at Warnock Lake was this past weekend and we rolled in on the drag bikes! They are loud and different than most of the bikes there, so they really draw a crowd. It was good hanging out with fellow riders and catching up with some folks we had met on the IMS tour. Two tents down from where we set up the drag bikes was the Big Ear tent and they hooked me up with a set of custom hot pink ear plugs! Thanks very much to Gary and Mary; can’t wait to try them out at the next race! One of the door prizes that evening was one of my framed posters, which I got to present to the winner! After dinner there was a great bonfire made out of BMW motorcycle crates. Great job by Don and his awesome team putting this event on; the new location in Atchison, Kansas was lovely! Hope to be back next year!
