National Public Radio broadcasted a segment on Elyse’s racing, accident, hospitalization, and recovery. The interview took place at the Kansas City radio station KCUR 89.3. The segment aired locally and shortly after aired nationally. The interviewer, Alex Smith, came across Elyse’s story online and thought it was an interesting success story about an individual coming back strong after spinal fusion.
