In the 9’s

Another milestone! Tonight I ran in the 9’s; my first time running faster than 10 seconds in the quarter mile! My best run was 9.926 seconds at 155 mph! The biggest difference was that Chris and the Engle Motors’ crew encouraged me to put the S1000 in Slick mode (the most aggressive/responsive mode). After moving up from Race mode to Slick mode, I took a couple runs easy to get the feel for it. Once I got back up to my normal racing intensity, we were in the 9’s! Wow, that’s a lot of progress since last year. An S1000 makes all the difference.
