2013 Drag Racing Season

It’s time for our first drag race of 2013 and first race on the BMW S1000RR! The goal for tonight was to take it easy and just get comfortable on the new ride. It was a distinct step up from running the GSXR 600 in 2012 to the S1000 tonight! We gained 30 mph compared to last year, and that was taking it easy in Sport mode (mode 2 of 4). We ran over 120 mph in the first pass; good thing Chris has that tether installed! Matt Hall (running Engle Motors’ green S1000) and Cora (blue and white GSXR 600) were also racing that night.
